Biography

Jack began performing at the age of 8. He attended Saint Lawrence College in Ramsgate, as an academic and music scholar.  Here he was taught by the jazz pianist and drummer Paul Cavaciuti. He formed his first jazz group at the age of 13 and continued to gig  throughout Kent with the trio throughout his time at school. After leaving school, Jack attended the University of Manchester to study music, where, in his final year, he specialised in jazz performance and composition. During his time at University, Jack performed with many projects around the city and was voted Musical Director for the University of Manchester Big Band. Since University, Jack has been performing regularly in many facets. His own trio performs regularly around Kent and London. Jack has played in many projects over  the previous years spanning jazz, classical, latin, pop, soul, afrobeat, improvisational music and many more genres. Jack also performs regularly as a solo pianist.
